We all know Easter has been a special time of remembering really
how precious we are to God. But you know how hard satan works
to convince us all of the opposite. It seems he's working harder
than ever to keep us in fear more than faith. That's because
faith is what really moves God's heart, not that He doesn't intend
to meet our needs and hear our prayers, but wouldn't you really
like to move God's heart. It's the next best thing to giving
Him a big hug.
I also like to think of what faith in God
does to satan. It has to be the worst thing he could run into,
a child of God who is unmovable in their faith in their God.
They never consider anything, but how faithful and able He is
to meet every need, present and future, as we walk a walk of
following HIs leading in our hearts and minds. For satan, it
must be like running into a brick wall--over and over again.
I like that visual. That's the faith I want to maintain. The
Bible has told us it comes by hearing from God so we just need
to listen, trust and simply follow---and we can be like that
wall.
